February is National CTE Month

The month of February is designated as National CTE Month. CTE, or Career and Technical Education, is education that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers. CTE covers many different fields, including health care, information technology, advanced manufacturing, hospitality and management and many more. CTE encompasses many different types of education, from classroom learning to certification programs to work-based learning opportunities outside the classroom. (ref. acteonline.org)
The CTE programs offered at C-CAT are:
Citronelle Center for Advanced Technology (C-CAT) is the only CTE school in the Mobile County Public School System that only serves one high school. None of our students have to be bused elsewhere to received CTE instruction; it's all done on the south campus of Citronelle High School. We think that makes us pretty special! We will be highlighting our programs and teachers all month long as we celebrate National CTE Month. #CTEmonth
